Oh no.. Nokia Care at C-4, Sector-2, Noida
I gave my Nokia N82 to the Nokia Care centre at C-4, Sector-2, Noida. Had dropped it last week on the road, and the LCD broke 
That was bad enough… and today, after waiting in queue for 2 hours, when I gave my phone for repair, the guy says that they’ll be deleting all the data!!
“What for?” I asked… since all they had to do was replace a piece of hardware! Well, it seems that they’ll do it anyways. That is how there “system” works.
Seriously… I wish somebody would explain to me why do they have to remove all the data to replace the LCD I did ask the guy. But it was so obvious that he had no clue about cellphones, that I gave up. I asked him whether they’d replace the firmware.. because I had just upgraded to the latest one.. and it takes so long to upgrade.. Well, this guy at the Nokia Care counter did not understand what “firmware” meant. Actually, he thought I was talking about “format”! He could not type my name correctly, even after I spelled out my name… it looked as if he’s learned English sometime recently and had just mastered the English alphabet! There’s not much you can do with a guy like that, except accept your fate…
I hope those incompetent guys at Nokia Care manage to fix the LCD without breaking anything else. The N82 has GPS, wireless, Bluetooth, a 5 MP camera with Xenon flash — basically the works. And I’ll be paying about Rs. 2500 for the repair… so if something else goes wrong.. I’ll be back continuing the sob story here…

Grrrr….
The customary first post of your blog… for the Nth time, because I can never stick around to one thing for too long. But I do have one thing to say on my first post of this blog.. choosing the URL is f***ing tiresome. Especially when you’re limited to only small case letters and numbers. Not even the “underscore” allowed for the URL to make sense ??!!! That’s awful…
